PGAdesign developed a comprehensive landscape master plan for Cal State East Bay’s Hayward campus, establishing a landscape vision for the campus that includes both technical and design guidelines to foster a more sustainable future for the campus.
The plan provides a comprehensive campus landscape plan. Landscape guidelines for various landscape systems are also included: ecology, landscape sustainability, hydrology, soils, planting design, irrigation, exterior lighting, outdoor furnishings, and exterior wayfinding signage. The campus’ mission and vision, emphasizing diversity, inclusivity, equity, and sustainability, guided the development of the master plan.
