As a key player in revitalizing Livermore’s downtown, PGAdesign helped transform extensive on-grade parking into multi-level parking garages that made way for a new pedestrian realm. This ambitious project connected popular destinations, including shops, restaurants, and the new Stockman’s Park, with an intricate network of paseos and walkways. The design featured pedestrian gateways, arched entries, and site furnishings, enhancing the area’s aesthetic and functionality.
PGAdesign’s materials and furnishing selections set the foundation for the new Downtown Design Guidelines, establishing a standard for future landscape projects. Additionally, PGAdesign designed the pedestrian-friendly streetscape for the new Veterans Way, further enhancing the connectivity and appeal of Livermore’s downtown.
