Thorton Avenue Interchange Planting

The Thorton Avenue interchange is one of five I-880 freeway interchanges in five cities masterplanned by PGAdesign. The design creates distinct planting identities for each city while maintaining a cohesive visual experience for motorists. PGAdesign managed the design team, overseeing design refinements, as well as the production of plans, specifications, and estimates. PGAdesign also provided quality review to ensure all contract documents were prepared in conformance with Caltrans standards.
