Treat Towers
Location: Walnut Creek
PGAdesign refreshed the landscape between and surrounding the two buildings of Treat Towers, offices built in 1999. The mostly on-podium site contends with strong sun and forceful winds that sweep between the two buildings. These factors prompted the need for updated plantings. PGAdesign replaced all of the aged planting, and added a trellis to facilitate wind protection for people spending time outdoors. The existing fountain received new tile, and PGAdesign collaborated with a fountain designer who devised a new design that conserves water by preventing it from blowing beyond the fountain.
