At the Oak Knoll housing development in Oakland, PGAdesign is part of a team transforming the 183-acre former military medical hospital site into a new community with 3,000 housing units. Recently, the nearly 100-year-old Oak Knoll naval officers’ club building was rolled through the site to a new location, where it will undergo renovations and become a community center.
