What do you like about the firm?
I feel lucky to have landed in the midst of true professionals and collaborators. The atmosphere belies the painstaking focus that my landscape architect colleagues devote to every detail. There is real talent here.
What do you enjoy doing outside the office?
It depends. I would really like to do more exercise. I use my (foot-powered) scooter for short commutes, but I would like to do more. I’ve always been more introverted than extroverted so I’ve enjoyed walking in nature, creating (leaf) collages, collecting rocks. But now I try to put more emphasis on relationships.
What’s your favorite hiking trail?
In the Bay Area, I love Tilden Park. Otherwise I enjoy any place that has interesting rock formations and high altitudes.
