A 5-story, 152-unit mixed-use housing complex that includes some affordable housing, built at the site of the former Grocery Outlet, was the last and largest of three adjacent complexes that together comprise 258 apartments and 18,000 sf of ground floor retail space. PGAdesign developed designs for the streetscape and on-structure spaces above the garage level as well as on the rooftop.
A series of sloping planters, some of which serve as stormwater treatment, support lush vegetation on-structure. Each unit has a private outdoor patio and access to community spaces including a children’s play area, bocce ball court, dining areas and a rooftop garden with an outdoor theater.
