U.C. Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy’s new central courtyard is tucked between an historic Ernest Coxhead-designed structure and a new classroom building. The courtyard, accessible from both buildings, is connected to the street by a gently curving brick path.
The courtyard’s scale and materials make this it an inviting place to meet, study, or relax. It’s also perfect for activities and functions.
This new space in the tradition of the campus courtyard creates a welcome place of peace and privacy at the heart of a bustling urban campus.
