Montalvo Arts Center
Located on 175 acres of dramatic surroundings, the Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga, California, was built in 1912 as a private villa and later transformed into a contemporary arts center, with artists in residence. The Center has since developed into a world-class organization providing creative programs, events, performances and experiences in an inspired environment. Faced with its second century of existence, the Center retained PGA to develop a Landscape Master Plan that carefully studies and provides a framework for the property, with an eye towards future growth. PGA also completed Phase I documentation for refinements to the Great Lawn, a location that serves large-scale events.
